My thoughts:
Be SURE you pack EVERYTHING that isn't fastened to the stove separately in bubble wrap or blankets, taking care not to stack ANYTHING on top of ANYTHING. This includes the:
* Top burners
* Drip rings
* Burner grates
* Flash tubes
* Thermowell: burner, grate, & lid
* Oven racks
* Oven floor
* Broiler pan
* Sizzling platter
* Broiler burner
* Grease tray
* Pilot light cover
* Service Cabinet shelf
* Cooktop cover
Also - If possible, I would remove the side panels - they are decorative, and NOT designed to have pressure applied to them, as when being moved. In addition, you should be CAREFUL if you use a two-wheeled dolly with a strap NOT to damage the gas valves (expensive fix!).
The best way to move it is on a large piano dolly (or two with plywood across them). Do NOT drag it! It weighs around 425 pounds, and will not only make horrible marks in the floors, you will bend the legs. DO NOT strap across the top from back to front or front to back - ONLY from side to side.
This is glass fused onto metal panels. Common sense is the rule of the day here...
Also, here is a really good thread where we've discussed this before:
